Publication depends on editorial review of the product, its fit for the directory, and the available evidence. A successful submission does not guarantee a listing.

Who can submit? Founders, operators, and teams shipping a real product with a clear homepage, including SaaS, tools, APIs, platforms, and developer products.

Agents can submit by API with structured metadata, stack evidence, and Agent Directory claim fields. Before you submit an AI product, check whether the product belongs in the broader catalog or meets the agent-native products review standard.

How long does review take?

Free: usually reviewed in 2–6 weeks, or usually reviewed within 7 days if your site links to MadeWithStack. Paid ($19 for the first 25 listings, then $29): reviewed within 24 hours of payment, every day. Payment is completed securely through Stripe checkout. Payment buys a fast decision, not approval. Featured is chosen by the editors and can't be bought.

What does the paid listing include?

If approved, your listing gets a dofollow link and 7 days in the homepage Promoted rail and at the top of New this week, labelled Promoted. If it isn't approved, you get a full refund. Payment never affects approval or review standards, and it doesn't buy Featured: editors pick Featured from free and paid listings alike.

Do paid listings rank higher in categories or search?

No. Category, tool and search pages treat every approved listing the same. Paid placement is limited to the homepage Promoted rail and the top of New this week, and it's always labelled Promoted.

Do approved listings link to the product?

Every approved listing links to the product homepage. Free listings link with ugc and nofollow. Paid listings get a followed (dofollow) link for as long as the listing is live.

Do I need to link to MadeWithStack?

No. A link to madewithstack.com on your site is optional. Free submissions with a link move up the free queue. A link never affects approval or review standards, and paid listings don't need one.

Is there a limit on free submissions?

We take 20 free submissions a week, across the form, API and MCP. When they're gone, free submissions reopen Monday 00:00 UTC.
